Me and Kaylee both went to the doctor today, so I thought I'd leave an update!

My belly is measuring right on at 29 weeks (I will be 30 weeks on Saturday!) and I have gained 14 lbs so far. Not too shabby! Apparently there was blood in my urine sample so that is being sent away to be checked. I also had to drink that nasty orange stuff! I never did that for my last pregnancy, so I am curious to see how I did. I'm guessing it won't be too great because I MAY have had donuts for breakfast this morning too... She said she'd call within two days if I fail, so I am sure I'll have an update in a couple of days lol Baby's heart beat was 152 bpm, and she found it right at my belly button so I don't know if he is head up or head down! I go in every two weeks from now on.

Kaylee also had her "12 month" check up today, even though she will be 14 months on the 18th. She was 22.1 lbs, 77 cms tall, and her head was 48 cms around. Her head is 97% lol So she has a big head!!! (Which I have heard people say many, many times lol but I don't see it!) She got two needles, once in each arm. I thought it was great because they had a nurse come in to help the doctor so that they could do them at the same time so she only got picked once. I appreciated that She cried like she was DYING but as soon as DH took her out of the room she was fine. She is doing all the things on the checklist they gave me, so she is meeting all the developmental milestones as well.

So all in all, a pretty good doctor's appointment for both of us!

I failed the glucose test She said it was just a LITTLE high, but that I did have to repeat it. She said this time I would drink 75 ccs of the drink instead of 50, and that it would be a little bit sweeter I also have to fast this time. She dind't mention having to hang around for 3 hours though, so I hope I don't have to do that!

I go tomorrow morning at 8:30... wish me luck!!!!

I failed my one hour and passed my 3 hour as well.
Though I had a REALLY hard time not throwing up the stuff. Even thinking about it makes me gag. Bring a straw so you don't need to taste it!!

^ THAT is a great idea!!! Thank you!

I just called to confirm and I go at 8:30, have blood drawn, drink the juice, then I'm supposed to go back for 10:45 to get blood drawn again. So at least I don't have to sit there all that time. Though I honestly don't know how I'm going to not eat that long

Are you sure they are letting you leave? When I had the 3 hour they didnt want me going anywhere. I brought a book.

I went in they drew my fasting blood, I had to wait for the results of that before I got the drink. After I got the results I drank the drink then they drew my blood every hour for 3 hours after that. It sucked and I was so sick to my stomach. It was really hard to not feel like I wanted to pass out.
