We are going to Myrtle Beach tomorrow and I hate, hate, HATE packing. I have to pack for me, the baby and the DF. If I were the only one going I wouldn't take but maybe five minutes to pack...toothbrush, toothpaste, clean undies a few shirts and shorts and jeans. DONE.
But no, I have to pack up EVERYTHING for Riley, like everything I need, may need, probably wont need, and what if....LOL. Needless to say her bag is huge and mine is tiny. I am looking forward to getting away this weekend. I get to meet up with an old friend I haven't seen since 2007 and have breakfast with her and introduce her to Ry. Super excited about that. Just not all this packing BS. haha.
I hope you can enjoy yourself despite all the packing lol. Traveling with a baby isn't easy.
That's going to be us this January. I have to pack for a 4 day cruise. I don't mind packing though. It's pretty easy. The hardest part for me is that Lily doesn't like to sleep real well while we are out lol.
Mom to a 2 year old baby girl, 2 week old baby boy, and one in Heaven.
In loving memory of our angel baby, with us for 4 weeks. Baby went to be with God July 24th, 2009.
Riley doesn't have a problem with sleeping in a new place. The child loves to sleep. When we are home she goes down at 8pm and sleeps until 1130 or 12 the next day straight through the night. And then takes a 2 hour nap mid day. When we go on a trip she pretty much stays with her schedule.
Wow lucky you! I think Lily mostly just gets scared at night. She naps fine, provided its a fairly quiet environment. She also travels very well too. she sleeps the entire 2 hour drive to my parents house. Night time sleep is the problem. I think I am going to start bringing a night light and white noise machine wherever we happen to be staying. That should help her.
