Anyone has any tricks or know of anything good for a fever?

I think it's just from teething as I know she has 2 teeth that recently broke through on top but can't be 100% sure. I just hate feeling her soo hot!! Last time when teething the only thing that broke it (finally after almost 3 days) was a mixture of Tylenol and advil. Tylenol every 5 and advil every 7 according to her pedi and that eventually broke it. But, I hate loading her down with so much medicine.

You can try putting her in a cool bath for a bit. That will usually bring fever down. It's hard to load them up on so much medicine but sometimes it's for the best. I hope she feels better soon.

I only give meds if they are miserable, the fever itself means they are fighting off something (or teething, grr). I was told with Matthew whe his last fever was 104+ a few weeks ago to alternate every 4 hours, that helped tremendously.

Sorry I wasn't done, had to go nurse matthew and put him down for a nap. When they have a fever, they are usually in a onesie, cool bath or cool rag. I hope she feels better soon.

I'll try alternating and see if that helps. I was going to give her a bath but had to run get groceries and more advil for Kynslee. I didn't give her another dose of meds as the first set seemed to be working well and she's not quite as hot. But, I did wipe her down with a cold wash rag since didn't have time to give her a bath. I'm hoping she feels better soon and doesn't last quite as long as her first fever. She's just not herself
