I plan on making one. I am still looking at recipes. I've heard that you can get a cake mix and put apple sauce in it or you could make a carrot cake or banana bread.

My mom found one that I'm going to try out in a couple of days. Not for her, just to check and see if it bakes ok. I'm subbing the cream cheese with a vegan cream cheese and everything else the same. I'll let you know how it comes out

I'm not making a smash cake, but I will be making a healthy cake. I use almond flour and sweeten with honey or maple syrup (cake and frosting). If you google whole wheat cakes sweetened with honey you'll find a lot of good recipes.

I never thought of a healthy cake, David didn't eat enough of it for it to matter. That is a good idea though !

Donna it's funny you say that! DS1 never ate a DROP. hahaa! I even put a blob on my finger & stuck it in his mouth & he was like ..mehhhh.. LOL!! However he DID smash it all over his face once we started it for him. We threw him in the pool afterwards and it caused this huge greasy mess! You live & you learn... haha! We're not doing one at all this time. He can have a cupcake from his pull cake It already comes with a '1' candle.
