What's the best, most helpful advice you've ever been given?
What's the worst, most outdated (if not downright ridiculous) advice you've heard or been given? Parenting advice, general life advice, etc.

The best for me is : Do what works for you and your baby. You can't hold a baby too much. Anything (people or pets) will eat when they are hungry so don't worry about it.

The worst is: I need to put my husband's needs before mine or he'll leave me.

Some good advice for me: Don't worry about housework too much when you have an infant - try and relax when they sleep. Housework will keep - babies and your sanity won't. Not really advice but something that helped me when Kynslee was colicky for the first few weeks was when others kept telling me - it DOES get better! It was a nice reassurance to hear. Good advice before getting married was NEVER go to bed upset/mad at each other - always work out difference before getting into bed.

I don't know what bad advice I received but I'm pretty I have just can't think of it right now
