Do you donate blood?

If yes, how often?

Why?

If no, why not?

Nope.

As I understand it, you usually can't donate for 12 months after getting a tattoo or piercing. I always seem to end up getting something done about once a year so I end up never being eligible lol.

I have a few times. I will again regularly after I'm done breastfeeding.

Sarah and James are AB-, which is very rare so they get asked to donate a lot!

No. I'm what nurses and doctors call a hard stick. It's too much trouble to find a good vein on me. I usually have to get IVs and blood work through my hand, and it's really really painful, causing all sorts of anxiety. I avoid it is as much as I can.

I used to sell my plasma in college. I still have the huge scar on my right arm and I get the heebie jeebies when anyone goes near it. I have awesome veins, but I cringe thinking about that experience. I did it for 2 years.

I don't. People have a hard time finding a good vein on me. Thick skin and deep veins. Plus I used to pass out with needles, now it doesn't bother me. I just don't want people diggin!
