I am planning to take the 3-hour test (since I failed the first one) this Wednesday. I remember the nurse saying to plan ahead by eating certain foods, but I don't remember what she said. Is it high carbs? Can anybody refresh my memory so I don't have to call them?

They told me eat normally for the days leading up to the test, then fast overnight the day before.
I've read about people carb loading or eating lots of protein the day before, but I personally wouldn't try to "trick" the test and skew the results one way or another. I'd just want to know.
I agree with Rae. I wouldn't try to do anything to skew the results. If you have GD, you need to know. So that you can eat properly. I hope you don't have GD though. You didn't have it with Will, right?
I am pretty sure I was told to eat normally and then I couldn't eat after 10pm or something like that. I remember feeling sick to my stomach drinking all of that crap and then all of those stinking blood draws.
