Do you give your LO juice?

I don't. She gets milk and water and is fine with it. She loves fruit so I prefer her to just eat fruit instead. The recommendation is 4 to 6oz at most in a day so I don't think she's missing out on anything by not drinking those couple ounces.

But I mentioned to a friend that I don't give her juice and she looked at me kinda funny and asked why.

Dominic doesn't get juice very often. He normally has mostly BM Milk and water.

I did offer it more often when he was learning to use a sippy cup and get him onto something other than just BM. He wouldn't drink milk out of a sippy cup but liked juice a bit better so I would offer it once or twice a day (he didn't really drink that much anyways)

Kaitlyn didn't have any juice till after she was 2. So no, I don't feel it's an important thing to have. I would probably never started giving my kids juice at all but my dad did it and then of course she wanted it.

I think it's great Alex only drinks milk and water. Mya has about 6 oz of juice (mostly apple or mixed fruit) every day while at daycare in a 9 oz cup (I add 3 oz of water to dilute it). When she's home I only offer her water but she is not a fan of milk. She won't go near the stuff plain so I add a little strawberry syrup and she'll tolerate about half of her 8 oz cup a day. She loves cheese though so I try to give her that for snacks to make up for her disdain for milk a little.

Brynlee has a Capri Sun here and there. She also gets half a cup of juice at daycare with their afternoon snack.

I give Will a little bit of juice with breakfast. It's about 3 parts water and 1 part juice, so it's pretty watered down. But he LOVES it.

I give DS 50% juice 50% water to drink. I'll only buy real fruit juice though, nothing with sugar added, no "drinks" with artificial flavours or anything like that.

Very rarely. Usually it's Neely that gives it to him and not me. I give him either milk or water, but most of the time if he's thirsty he asks to nurse.

Lew drinks milk and water. The only juice he gets is when he gets ahold of Chuck's juice and has a few sips before Chuck or I notice. LOL.

He gets watered down juice, but not often. He doesn't care for it too much.

Avery only drinks milk and water. And she JUST started accepting milk this week. Prior to that it was only water and nursing.

I don't plan to offer her juice for quite some time.

Evan loves juice. He knows if Jenna has it and will stalk her until she puts the cup down, then would steal it and drink it until someone noticed. So, we started giving him his own. It's very watered down, but he leaves his sister's alone. He won't drink milk from anything but a bottle, so he rarely drinks milk except for first thing int he morning. Otherwise it's water.

Miles drinks diluted juice. Not all the time, but it's not rare either. It really wasn't in my plans to do that but it was how we cup trained him since he loathes milk and wasn't motivated to drink plain water out of it. Meh. It is what it is. He still drinks a butt ton of water, too, so I think he's fine.

Yep. I don't buy juice often, but I will keep juice boxes in the diaper bag. I only buy 100% juice/apple juice. I don't see a problem with juice.
