Do you check on you're LO in the middle of the night if you're not bed sharing?
How about the older kiddos? At what point, if ever, do you expect to stop?

I have a video monitor that I keep on, but just to sound for most of the night. I do check the video a handful of times before I go to bed and then anytime I hear him. I can also switch the view to the camera in Chuck's room. I check on him until I know he is asleep and then I don't have any monitor on him at all. He can get out and find me if he has a problem.

At this point I am so thankful to be STTN most nights that I sleep like a rock until Avery wakes me up either in the AM around 6 or 6:30 or if she wakes sooner because something is bothering her. I have a monitor on all the time. No video though.

I keep a monitor on all night. Very rarely I will sneak in her room when she's asleep to look at her.

I don't check on Kaitlyn at all, unless I get home from work at 2 am and told her I would come say goodnight. With Dominic I'm normally in there once or twice a night anyways. I don't plan to check on him through the night once he is sleeping through consistently.

DH checks on her before he goes to work at ten thirty, but other than that I don't check at all. Her monitor is on, I feel secure with that.

Tucker sleeps in his bassinet and I don't check on him unless he makes a puking noise lol

Jalesa is sleeping through the night so I'll usually check on her before I go to bed. On occasion she'll wake up in the middle of the night and I'll bring her to my bed.

I don't have a monitor and other than whispering 'good night' from the door of each room, I don't go in to check on any of them. If they are sleeping, I let them sleep.

I check on Will each time I get up to pee, which is usually about twice right now. The only reason I do that is because it's chilly out this time of the year and I want to make sure he has a blanket on him. If he wakes up from being cold, I'll be sorry! So it's worth it to be proactive and just cover him up when I get up.

I check in on both kids when I go to bed, maybe one other time in the night if they're unwell. DH makes fun of me for it, but I also just like watching them when they sleep- so peaceful, no attitude I don't know when I'll stop; maybe in the next couple of years for Jenna.

I check on her before I go to bed. I just walk in, glance, make sure she is covered up, and go to bed. I keep a monitor on (no video).

Xavier has a monitor, & Layla can get out of bed if she needs me, but I still check on them 1-2 times a night. I stumble into their rooms with my eyes closed & resock & cover them or just look at them.
I'll probably be doing this til kingdom come.

LOL! I do exactly this. And WHY is it that when I don't want him to wake up, he wakes up. But when I'm trying to wake him up in the morning to get him ready before I go to work, he sleeps like a friggin rock??

We don't bed share, but we room share. I'll check on Keelan if I happen to get up and walk past his bed, but generally since he doesn't sleep all night, I don't get up to just check on him.

The rest of the kids I don't check on unless I happen to be awake. Their rooms are on a different level than mine.

I don't really check on them at night unless I hear them awake making noise, and in that case it really isn't checking on them so much as peaking in to say Hi.

I check on them before I go to bed and one of them is always waking up threw out the night so if one wakes up I check on the rest of them.

Never! I let my sleeping bear lie. And I've stopped using the monitor. If she needs me, I will hear her even with her door closed. The monitor makes weird noises sometimes and she can be restless. Hubby and I sleep much better! Adding that we do have the monitor on until we go to sleep cause we are usually on different floors.
