When should they start using a pillow? I know some are already using pillows. (Brynlee - the resident genius - doesn't count!) (LOL!!) I was thinking once they get into a regular bed, but I'm not sure!

Brynlee started using a pillow (pet) in December. My great Aunt gave it to her for Christmas. It's so soft and she loves to snuggle with it, too. She almost always keeps her head on it all night long now. Before that, we really only used a pillow when she was sick. That way we could prop her head up. She rarely stayed on it.

DS tried a pillow and liked it, but he would roll off of it then scream. I was up 4-5x a night putting him back on his pillow, so I gave up and took it away again.

Tristan uses a pillow pet too. He only likes regular pillows when he grabs them off the couch. He doesn't like them in his crib

With his apnea issues, Lew still gets nothing in his crib. Nothing.

Dominic has a pillow pet too. I'm not sure if he really uses it or not. I almost never see him sleeping. He likes to curl up with his head on it when I lay him down but then he gets up and screams when I leave so who knows.

Mya still sleeps with me just about every night and even though I have extra pillows I don't give her one to sleep on/with. It might be time for her own though because she'll sometimes lay on and/or across MY pillow and instead of me moving her back over to her side I just sleep without it or use my arm. LOL

We didn't give Layla one until she went to a toddler bed. I guess we'll do the same for Xavier.

Same with Kaylee, but she has a travel pillow and not a pillow pet.

Not yet, she moves too much in her sleep she would never stay on it.

No pillow here yet. I just stopped using sleeper sacks and gave him blankets though! lol I might be a little paranoid! He plays with our pillows on my bed during the day when I am cleaning my room and he is in there with me. And he plays with our couch pillows. But I am still nervous to give him one in his bed. I am thinking when he is done with a crib we will give him a pillow.

No pillows here yet, but E will be transitioning to a cot at day care soon so we will need one for that! The cot will be interesting because E does not stay in one place AT ALL!
