If I try to unload or load it, it's right there grabbing everything, getting in it, pretending to drink out of cups, dirty or clean. Ugh! And now apparently he can open it too.

Is he the only one?

Definitely not the only one. Alex has been OBSESSED with it for a while now. Its the main reason I gate her out of the kitchen lol. She has even figured out how to turn it on.

Xavier does all of that too. He's figured out there is water in there when I start it, so he's opening it looking inside as soon as he hears it starting.

Yes, Dominic loves the dishwasher too. Thankfully it's a pull out one so I have to pull it out and hook it up, which prevents him from turning it on when I don't want him too. But he insists on unloading it, standing on the door, and attempting to touch all the dirty dishes, ewww.

Yep, Kaylee too. I'm just waiting for the awful day I turn my back for one second and she ends up with a knife in her hand :S

Yep, I try not to unload or load it when he's around. He stands on the door, pulls stuff out. Thankfully he can't open it yet.

Definitely not the only one! Carter loves the dishwasher, he loves to lock and unlock it and open and close the door and sit on it and help us unload it and anything that has to do with it or dishes he loves.

Joey does this. The kid hears the click of it opening and literally runs across the house to start ripping things out of it. He particularly likes stealing the metal teaspoons. He's been hiding them under the couches. Strange, strange child.

little rose love to "help" with the dishwasher. I can live with the silverware, but not the dishes. She also tries to stand on the door to help unload the top rack. I will have her close the door with me and then she tries to push the buttons for me.

I can't load or unload it with her anywhere near. She has to be either asleep or in a high chair. She gets the lids to tupperwear and silverwear. She also likes to sit and bounce on the door which I'm afraid she's going to tear it up.
