Cody has been such a crazy baby whenever I lie him down to either change him or dress him. I have to do it on my bed because anywhere else is downright dangerous. He gets into this insanely silly mood and will thrash about and grab his ankles so I can't get his pants off. He'll twist and turn and throw anything I put in his hands to distract him. The more frustrated I get, the more he laughs. I literally had to call my older son in to help me hold his arms and legs down so I could get the diaper on.
We still use the change table for every diaper change. He went thru a crazy-wild phase like you're describing but it passed, thankfully. Now he plays a game where he throws his pants on the floor and goes, "uh-oh!" and waits for me to pick them up, just to do it all over again.
