Is your LO still rear facing?

I know that it is a recommendation now to stay that way until 2 yrs old but all hell breaks loose if we put her rear facing in the car. We turned our seats forwards a couple of months ago as she seemed happier in the car that way but my parents still have their's rear facing and in the weekend, Zoe was going NO-WHERE with them like that.

Yes. I didn't turn DS#1 around until he was 3y7m. Lew has a long way to go. He will be RF until he is 45 pounds.

Colton as well. He doesn't know he has any other option and I plan on keeping it that way.

Will is still rear facing. He hates riding in the car and I wonder if turning him around would help. But I'll wait until he is 2 to find out.

Still RF here, but I would try switching her if she was throwing fits!

After a year of throwing fits in the car every single time we tried to go anywhere, I switched DS at the minimum 12 months. We have been much happier ever since.

Keelan is RF and will remain so till he reaches the height/weight limit of his seat. He's got a long way to go.

Carter's rear-facing and will be until he's 6 at this rate of growth. DH thinks he should be switched to FF before he outgrows his seat but I'm standing firm on this one, he will be RF until he reaches the limits for his seat.

Tristan is FF and loves it. He was such a bear in the car when he was RF and then one day my dad took him in his truck and had to face the car seat forward and he said Tristan was happy as a clam. I tried it in my jeep and it was seriously the best car ride I had ever taken. Before FF'ing him I cringed every time we had to go somewhere but now he just jabbers away and dances to the music lol!

Alexis is RFing and she has no problem with it, so I don't have any plans to turn her around anytime soon. I don't plan on maxing out the weight limit of her seat, but as long as she stays happy, I'll keep her RFing until 2 or longer. She has her 2 older sisters behind her, so I think that really helps.

Rear facing and will stay that way until we HAVE to change that. She's so short though....I don't think we will have issues keeping her RF after she's 2.
