Mandy, I've been watching calories & carbs. I have a protein shake or old fashioned oatmeal with splenda for breakfast, fruit or south beach bars for snacks, protein & veggies for lunch & dinner. I walk 3 miles on nice days, & do a mix of Turbo Jam, Tae Bo, & 30 Day Shred on others. I drink 2-3 liters of water, & just stopped being so lazy. Instead of telling Tim to get something for me upstairs, I get my fat butt up & do it myself! I also use myfitnesspal, but since my meals are almost always the same, I don't use it every day.
Oh, & working pt has really helped me stick to my diet. I have less time to cook & bake crap, & I naturally move around more since I'm in a pre-k classroom.
