I just bought two purses that fit a couple diapers, wipes and my stuff in them. I wasn't carrying a diaper bag for months and just kept diapers in the car but I kept losing my keys and wallet and figured it'd be easier, especially when he's asking for water or a snack and I can just have it in my purse.
What kind of bag do you carry? The same bag I bought after we found out she was a girl and named her. It's a bag I ordered from an ebay shop. It has her name on it.
Do you have other things besides diapers in it? Diapers, wipes, changing pad, snacks, cup, sometimes a change of clothes, usually a book or a toy
Does it go everywhere or just long trips? During the week, I try to remember to keep it in the car in case we go somewhere after daycare. Daycare ALWAYS sends her home looking a MESS. On the weekends, it stays in the car because we're out and about a lot.
But also, sometimes I just use my purse and I throw in diapers, wipes, and snacks. Like right now, I bought a super cute purse over the weekend and it's perfect for just tossing her stuff in so that's what I did over the weekend, I even had her cup in the side pocket LOL. So I got to work on Tuesday and had her stuff still in my purse! When we go to the zoo and places like that, I just throw my wallet in her diaper bag. It's less likely to get stolen then a purse.
Not really, I grab the diaper bag if we will be out all day, but not for short trips. I keep my diaper pod stocked with diapers, wipes and a changing mat and just throw snacks, pacis, and anything else, into my purse.
