Hey, how long did your gums hurt after you got your wisdom teeth removed? I can't remember how long my bottom ones hurt when I got them out. But it's been 2 weeks since I got my top ones out and my gums STILL hurt. I also keep getting rice trapped back there, lol. They still ache when I eat peanut butter, carrots, apples, etc. I had both an apple and PB for breakfast so now they REALLY hurt! Anyway, they are still pretty sore so I was wondering how long your gums hurt.

They did. A few of them I ended up kinda...giving a little tug to pull out. When I had my follow up last Thursday, the doc said that was fine. They were just long pieces that were bugging me. I am wondering if I have been trying too hard to brush back there.

Aw, it stinks they still hurt! I asked about the stitches, because my best friend had a problem with hers not desolving. mine hurt for about a week. maybe ease up on the brushing of the far back. I hope you get some comfort soon!

hmmmm I'm not sure. Mine never really hurt, but they were sore for probably a week and a half. It was probably 2 weeks before I felt fully ready to eat normal food and chew normally. I read that they can be sore for up to a month though.
