Yup. Posted on facebook. 37 week appt today. 1.5 cm dilated 50% effaced. To find out baby is breech and bigger than doc would like. 37 weeks measuring 39. 7 lbs is her estimated weight right now. Lol

So doc said she is sorry but no go for vbac for our safety.

So if you go into labor on your own, you will still get a csection?

That's so sad. If DH and I decide to have our own child with #2 (as opposed to adoption), I want to look at vbac.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I hope all goes well for you, in the end you'll still be cuddling a sweet new baby.

No matter what c section. Her size alone.makes doc wonder if
I can have her naturally. And her being breech doesn't help. From the
ultrasound it doesn't look like Madalyn will be able to flip. She is really snug in there.
It's okay. Now I'm worried about going into labor and having to go to.
hospital and wait for c section.....

Oh sweetie, I'm sorry. I know you really wanted your vbac but if it's in the name of safety for you and bubs, then it really is best. FX that she waits till c-section date and that it is all a safe delivery. What date is your c-section scheduled for?

Really sorry to hear that. Hopefully the baby flips, you go into labour on your own, and your OB changes her mind!

March 12th is the c section. I am okay....my only worry is that if I go into labor before then.... the "on call" doc from the office will do my c section.

I'm sorry! Keep in mind that ultrasounds when measuring size can be off +\- a pound. I'm holding out hope she will flip and you will have a super fast labor. But either way I can't wait to see your new daughter.
