What do you normally give your LO to drink?
Do they always have their cup and drink a lot between meals or mainly just at meals?

I try to get him to drink at meals and throughout the day. He's not hugely into drinking (I think because he was so into breastfeeding) now that he is down to nursing 1-2 times in a 24 hour period I offer drinks regularly to make sure he is getting enough.

He has two cups going all day. One is milk and one is water. He just started drinking regularly. Before he just nursed.

Keelan is still nursing so when he wants a drink he jumps on my lap and assumes the position. I do offer him water and cows milk during meal times.

I offer milk and water but she has little interest, she will take a few swallows and then just spit it down her shirt she nurses often, though, so I'm not worried about her intake

Just milk and water here. I make sure I have water on hand all day for her, and I offer milk at meal times in addition to water.

We just started giving her almond milk. She was getting whole milk but we just found out she has a milk intolerance.

She also nurses 2x per day still.

I give him water, milk and sometimes orange juice. He has milk in the mornings and with meals and water as often as he wants. I usually give him orange juice one day on the weekends

Kynslee usually has just water and sometimes milk. But, she has to have lactose free milk. Occasionally real watered down juice.

Yesterday Kynslee had an appointment with a nutritionist and she stated that kids under 2 should not drink between meals/snacks and all kinds of other things that I think are nonsense. She also said that Kynslee shouldn't be having much dairy also (including cheese and yogurt which Kynslee loves!). I told the lady that Kynslee doesn't really care much for meat so I try and offer her more proteins with, cheese, eggs, and yogurt while still offering her meat. The nutritionist also stated Kynslee was anemic. What?! I told her I was bfing Kynslee until 2 months ago (and the sample was taken about 4 months ago) and I was taking iron pills while bfing her. The nutritionist said that it's probably because I was bfing her and not offering her enough actual true proteins?!! She said that kids who drink or breastfeed more are not hungry for meals and will not eat enough meats and proteins? Any suggestions? Or should I even listen to this lady? Kynslee's pedi said her iron levels were fine and that she's actually starting to finally put on more weight and catching up more in size.

Sorry to go on - I'm just confused and a little upset at the lady

If the pedi says she's fine, I would go by that.

X drinks mostly milk, some water, and sometimes watered down apple juice. He doesn't care for it really, so I mostly only offer it to him when we will be out for an extended period of time since warm apple juice is more appealing to me than warm milk.
He drinks at meals, snacks, and when he asks for his cup.
