Anyone else have a petite child?

I feel sometimes that Kynslee is soo far behind in weight and height. She has caught up more finally but is still smaller (she was 15 even at a year but is now finally almost or right at 20) at 17 months. I'm not worried as she's perfectly normal and her development is right on track if not possibly slightly above. But, everyone else seems to say how big there LO's are getting and Kynslee is just now starting to fit into more 12 month clothes I think it's cute that she's petite but is there anyone else raising a peanut with me?

Dominic is quite lean, he doesn't really look petite in my opinion (Maybe because he's a boy ) He's 24 lbs now and just gained the last 3 lbs over the last couple months. He needs 18-24 months for pants for height, but can easily fit 10 month pants for waste. He is lucky he wears a cloth diaper or ALL pants would probably fall right off haha

Not Brynlee. She's always been in the 75-90% for both height and weight. She wears 18-24 month pants for length, but they are a bit big in the waist. Luckily, Old Navy's pants run a bit small.

Kynslee weighs more than little rose.

My kids (especially the girls) have always been super skinny weight-wise. Most of their first two years are spent below the 5th percentile for weight.

Little rose weighs around 17 pounds at 18 months. She is just really getting into 9 month clothes, although she's been wearing 6-12 all winter. The 6 month clothes are finally getting too small to wear.

I'm not sure on height, but I know she's not even 30 inches. I measured her standing up and she was 28.5 inches.

So, I'm sure Kynslee is just fine. She is growing and her development is getting better with her PT and OT. I wouldn't worry.

Oh my gosh! Brynlee just got measured last week when I had to take her to the doctor. She was right under 33 inches. Everyone always tells me she looks older. It's probably her height and all of her hair. She definitely didn't get her height from my side. The four of us (including my mom) range between 4'11"-5'4". DH's mom is tall and so are her four sisters though.

I'm glad there are other tiny tots out there Makes me feel better. I laughed yesterday after I got Kynslee dressed and realized that, yeah, her skirt (though a little short) was a size 3-6 months and fit her bottom and waist perfectly. She wears a lot of 6-12 month things but some are finally getting a little short (like shirts - skirts or dresses I'll put leggings under and you never know they are shorter). She is just now finally fitting into a few 12 months things and they don't look ridiculous & too big on her anymore. She's mostly 9-12month or 6-12 in brands that run that size(Crazy 8, Gymboree, Gap, Old Navy....)
