OML is all I can say. we know she's allergic to Grapes and Coconut, fairly easy to avoid for the most part. though you'd be surprised the things that have coconut or coconut oil in them.

but last night as supper she had a reaction to something, and I can't figure out what, thought I don't want to try, with in minutes of starting to eat her whole face was broke out and bright red and swelling, high dose bendryl and watched her. this morning still swollen so more bendryl. ugh.

looks like I'll be calling for more testing and an epi pen.

Who else is dealing with this? I know Tobi does. anyone else from the other boards have a LO with allergies?

HUGS mama!! No fun! I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. Kynslee has an intolerance to regular milk but nothing major and lactose free milk works. She's not allergic to anything though. Hope you can figure out quickly what caused this reaction

Oh no! I discovered recently that I was allergic to coconut oil. At the suggestion of a friend, I got some to use on my eczema and yeah, that didn't go well. Ended up on steroids and high dose benadryl.

I'm so sorry Ro. I hope you figure it out soon.

little rose is fine so far and K is too. M had a problem for a few years where she broke out in hives (actually looked like roseola) from anything that rubbed against her skin. We had her on high dose (prescription strength) of Benedryl and Allegra.
Mom to M (6), K (4), and little rose (18 months)

Ayla broke out in hives randomly a few months ago, and we just got testing done last week. She isn't allergic to anything (thank god). They were caused by a virus.
