Thanks for sharing the pics and the story again! I really enjoyed reading it. I remember this time last year and we were all so happy that Iz was doing so good after surgery. I'm so glad that she's doing great and is so healthy now!
It is amazing how far she's come!

I unlinked for a while when there were a few crazies running around JM in the hopes that having to make an effort to find me would keep them away. It worked, too! I meant to relink after all of them left JM but I forgot

We were bad parents too because we were having a few moments of s*xy time when little rose woke up and started crying. Needless to say we didn't stop right away.

I have to keep reminding myself that while I would love to potty train little rose, I will have a horrible time doing it since there are any underwear in her size. Even the smallest terrycloth training pants are too big - she's only wearing 9 month pants and often the waist is too big. Guess I still need to be patient.
Dh and I have done that too Dee lol.

Maybe try a cloth diaper b/s/t or a co-op for training pants? I know a co-op I'm in has sales with different trainers available, not sure the sizes on them though. How much does Rose weigh now anyways?
I haven't started worrying about potty training at all, alex isn't really acting ready.

I'm sure you could find something custom too if Little Rose is ready to potty train.

I've been kind of sparse on here I got some bad news about my dad's health last week and haven't been feeling chatty.

Shalaine - I'm sorry about your dad. Bad news is always tough.

April - she's 17.5 pounds.

I found some Charlie Banana swim diaper/training pants at Target. I think we'll try those for now - I just bought one to she what she thinks. I did pull out the potty and cleaned it off for her. She loved sitting on it and then wiped herself with some toilet paper. She was very proud of herself. I even splurged and bought the Huggies size 3 slip-on diapers. Little rose loved pulling those on too.

Not going to push the potty training, but we'll see where this goes.

I saw that Bububibi has adjustable ones that start at 20lbs I'm sure there are other brands too.

I agreed to sign up for a 5k with DH and a friend in November. Guess I need to get serious about my running.

20 pounds is a long way off for us. But I'll keep it in mind. Thanks April.

I couldn't run a 5K - hate running. I'd would love to bike a 50k though.

Happy Monday. This is going to be a long week - I leave Thursday for a work trip. First time w/o kids or hubby for 2 days, surrounded by other people's kids.

DS got his first trip to the Optometrist this morning. He thought it would be fun to sit on the edge of a laundry basket, well the basket flipped and he wacked his face on the edge of the coffee table, he got it right across the top of his eyes. His eye lids are all bruised, and his one eye is all bloody red. I called and they told me to bring him in right away. Turns out he just burst a blood vessel or two, but it will take a good week or two for it to fully heal. Poor little guy looks like he was in a bar fight with two black eye lids and one bloodshot eye.

I don't know what to do today. It's sunny, but I feel unmotivated. I should at least take the kids bike riding or something.

Poor guy! Hope it heals fast!

I know what you mean Shalaine, its so nice out and I haven't made it out yet really lol.

I thought I was gonna have to babysit for most the day today so I ran my errands I was gonna walk to, then I found out I didn't need to babysit. Having a hard time getting motivated to just walk to walk now lol.
I did call and make an appointment to finish registering Alex this week with base childcare so I can use the daycare at the gym and finally start doing some strength training.

Its sunny here and it looks nice, but once you get out there its cooler than it looks. I've only been out to drop off and pick up kids, the rest of the day has been spent cleaning up from the weekend because we have showings tonight for the house.

Just opened my front door to check on something I'm drying outside and there's a random door mat at the end of my patio... I have no idea where it came from but I do know it showed up in the last 3 hours or so. I'm REALLY confused.

I'm leaving it be until tomorrow at least. But then whats the protocol on that lol? Free doormat?

LOL! You get a mystery door mat, last summer I got mystery garden signs and decorations. Never did find out who gave them to me but once a week or so all summer a new little decoration would show up in my front garden. I think I like the door mat better.
