lol! That's weird Caroline.

I'm just so confused. I live way back in the back of the complex, idk who'd walk back here to leave a doormat.

LOL! That's funny that someone would walk to the back to leave a doormat!

I know right!?

I wonder if the little kid that's at my neighbor's house (grandson I THINK) took her mat and was playing with it and left it on my porch. I really have no idea. It's sitting at the end like right up against the sidewalk end.

Waiting on a friend to bring his daughter over for the night. His wife is deployed with DH and one of his other kids got admitted to the hospital tonight (with REALLY bad pink eye of all things) so I'm gonna keep the 2 year old for him while his 2 older kids spend the night at his neighbor's house so they can go to school tomorrow.

It should be an interesting night, hopefully her and Alex don't keep each other from sleeping.

Ugh I cannot seem to sleep. DH arrives home tomorrow. I hope that helps make me go to bed at a more reasonable time.

You know after 3 weeks of DH's new job I'm the exact opposite now. It's the nights that he's home that I have trouble sleeping and the nights he's away I sleep so well. He's on a 7 day stretch right now and I'm so looking forward to a whole week of good sleep.

I'm voting free doormat.

My husband works nights so on his days off I do not sleep well because I'm used to having him not here

little rose used the potty again this morning!

She wouldn't for DH last night, but she did for me. Guess she loves me the best.

Tonight went better than expected. Both girls actually slept pretty well. I survived my first sleep over hah!
They've done pretty good this morning so far. Alex is still learning about sharing her toys since she usually doesn't have to but it's not going too bad.

Doormat is still there this morning. Guess I'm the proud owner of a new doormat lol. It's nice than my old one.

I though I'd get more sleep while dh was gone since he's usually the one that kept us up so late when he was home... I was very wrong lol. Now I don't go to bed until even later plus I wake up to talk to him at all sorts of random hours in the night.

Guess we'll be having a 2nd sleep over tonight, they're gonna keep friend's son another night.

Aaaaand alex just fell backwards off the couch and hit her head on the corner of the table. No blood and she only cried for a less than a minute though. Guess I'll keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't act funny but she seems ok.

I don't know that I'll get as lucky tonight as I did last night lol.

Eww I hate working on my resume. Though mine kinda sucks so that might have something to do with it.

I just hate all the possible "acceptable" versions and knowing which one to use...

Today has quickly went downhill. Soooo much whining.

I'm ready for bedtime, hopefully that doesn't go horribly tonight. I'm really hoping my friend's son is well enough to be released tomorrow.

Well, tried well-worn (shrunk) Gerber 18 month training pants on little rose and those are too big.

Even the Huggies size 3 slip-on diapers are loose on her.

Oh well, I won't be able to do much with her the next couple of days. DH will be on his own with all 3 kids. Hope he survives.

I'm sure he'll be fine Dee, though will probably appreciate you a lot more for a while after lol.

Last night didn't go as well, it was mostly my kid not wanting to sleep though. Waiting to hear from my friend but he said last night that his son will probably be released today. Poor kid ended up with cellulitis around his eye after getting pink eye in both eyes but it's looking a lot better apparently.

April - he's got it easy since there's school on Friday and he's using the babysitter too. It'll be just getting the kids up and out the door on time that will be hard for him.

The first time mine had to take care of the boys on his own (I was pregnant with Iz and hospitalized for several days), he could not figure out how I do it without help. He had to rely heavily on my parents, who occasionally babysit for me but not really that often. He helps out around the house a lot more after that
