April I'm glad you got a walk in.

Water is receding, for now. More rain coming next week. Basement stayed dry. So happy - feel bad for those that have water in their basement.

We're having the weirdest weather here too. Today was a humidex of 30 and by Saturday it's a wind chill of -1.

DD2 has decided that she wants to dance next fall instead of playing ringette. I contacted a dance studio and they offered her a free lesson so she can give it a try and see if she likes it. She's so excited, she wanted to go tonight, but she has to wait until next week for the next class with her age group. I on the other hand am now scrambling to find ballet shoes, a body suit and a skirt by next week that may never be worn again if she doesn't like it. The things we do for our kids.

So we had snow this morning. Yesterday it was flash floods and rains and major fog last night. Today it's snow.

I hate rainy PA days. I have way too many kids trapped in the house for way too long and the older ones are starting to take on attitude. It doesn't help that we have very little to play with right now since I packed up so much of it to stage the house. I'm going crazy!!

Love your pictures Hazel

Ugh!! my husband is an idiot sometimes! Love him to death but sometimes he amazes me with how stupidly he handles things. I might be less annoyed if I hadn't found out about it at 4am, stupid time zone crap. Plus I'm frustrated that I can't really tell him how i'm annoyed about it, because of the deployment and not wanting to waste our bit of time we get to chat being mad at him.

Hazel - yay for milestones! I'm sure this year was a better year for Iz and you.

April -

I'm excited to have some adult time with DH tonight. IL's watching the kids for us.

I took DS in today to get his first real big boy hair cut. DH tried buzzing it once, that was well, funny. So I took him to a real hair dresser and got him a little boy cut. He looks so cute now. He was actually pretty OK getting it done, he just kept trying to turn and look at the lady while she was doing it.

My oldest would not hold still at all so he was four before he got a "real" haircut I cut his hair until then. B was much more cooperative and had his first haircut at a local salon. Now, though, he's a holy terror and we always have to check someone is willing to buzz a kid screaming as we hold him down

Hazel - I didn't realize yesterday marked a year of Iz's surgery! You've been through so much and I would follow your blog when you had it linked to JM. Thanks for sharing the pics and the story again! I really enjoyed reading it. I remember this time last year and we were all so happy that Iz was doing so good after surgery. I'm so glad that she's doing great and is so healthy now!

Everything is all fixed. It was all stupid stuff anyways.

Went to a birthday party today. Was a lot of fun.

We got home right at alex's bed time, that was 2 hours ago almost and she's still awake. >_>

Adult time last night was fun, but DH called it a night way too early. His stupid arthritis again!

We were bad parents too because we were having a few moments of s*xy time when little rose woke up and started crying. Needless to say we didn't stop right away.

I have to keep reminding myself that while I would love to potty train little rose, I will have a horrible time doing it since there are any underwear in her size. Even the smallest terrycloth training pants are too big - she's only wearing 9 month pants and often the waist is too big. Guess I still need to be patient.
