1 year, 7 months, 2 weeks, and 1 day.

A tiny bit of sadness, but mostly I am awfully darn proud of myself!

Awww mamma! I'm sure it is a little sad. But I agree you have a lot to be proud of! It's not easy that's for sure! How did it happen?

He had weaned himself down to twice a day, one side each time for less than two minutes a time. So he wasn't getting much. I pressed the issue over the last two days. I somehow got a milk blister and that same nipple is bleeding, so that side has been done for two days. He was easily distracted by a sippy of milk and some cuddles.

Congrats on bfing as long as you did! I agree, it was a little sad when I weaned Kynslee but I was also so happy of myself when I finally actually fulled weaned her. Glad that he transitioned well!
