Today we went to both our parents with kids and were gone most of the day.
When we got home tonight, we put the older two to bed and I was nursing little rose to sleep. Dh came in and said "when you're done come into the kitchen, I need to talk to you."
That's it, wouldn't elaborate. I kept thinking "crap, I've done something", but couldn't figure out what. WHen I finally got little rose down, I went into the kitchen. Turns out, the basement doors were wide open when he went downstairs.
Total freak out!!!! Nothing is missing, that we know of or can see. Nothing is out of place and we took a walk through the whole house trying to find anyone that might be hiding. Then we were scratching our heads trying to remember if we gave anyone those keys.
All I know is that I really need to call the alarm company and get them out here to put another sensor on those doors (we changed the doors and the old sensor won't work with the new type of doors). We've bungee corded the door too.
Scary feeling, even if one of the kids accidentally left the door open. I'll be sleeping very lightly tonight.
