Today is my dd's birthday (and my Mom's) so we have told her all week that we haven't bought any presents and I didn't get a cake. We are going to decorate a fake cake and then surprise her with a small party.
Said dd played a prank on me. She taped paper to the bottom of my mouse so when I went to use my computer, it didn't work. I thought one of the kids had unplugged it and I was going to have to crawl under the desk to plug it back in. Good thing I turned it over first.

To DH last year I put some cream cheese on his deodorant. He would have never noticed except that I got up at 5 with him and waited until after he put it on then sneaked into the bathroom. I was trying not to laugh so he got suspicious. He finally realized what I did and he had to take a shower before work so he wouldn't smell of sour cheese later that day after working and sweating a few hours.
I hate April Fools jokes! My husband told me about one his friend played on his 10 year old son...the boy loves this video game called Minecraft, which was invented by someone named Markus Persson. So my husbands' friend secretly changed his contact info on his wife's iPhone to say "Markus Persson" then texted from his phone to say "I'm pleased to inform you that (son's name) has won the Minecraft sweepstakes!" I thought that was so mean! But my husband said the kid wasn't upset, so...
