Can your husband give you a break sometimes? Let you take a nap, or just leave the house for a few hours? I had someone come to my house 2x a week for up to 3 hours from church. She was a Godsent. I honestly don't know how I would have made it through the infant years without her. Just going to Chapters ALONE to read a book or have a coffee ALONE made me feel more refreshed. It was kind of like a mental shower.

awe glad you got some help. I have PPD too and recently went to the dr about it. I feel like my life's being straightened out. Good luck with your journey. Keep us updated.

I'm glad you were able to identify that something was wrong and get help! I also felt the same way with my PPD and didn't realize at the time, that's what it was. Don't hesitate to ask for your doctor to do more if you feel you need it. I found (and still do) that many times, a break from the kids, more sleep, etc. was only a temporary solution. I was always blaming my bad mood on something around me and not realizing that it was just ME.
