About how many words does your LO know / say now? A lot, I have completely lost count, and he can repeat most words he doesn't know on his own
Does he/she talk in sentences? He's starting too, but most of them are just a few words put together.
A lot, wouldn't even attempt to try to count.
He's a chatterbox. Figures, both my husband and I are somewhat reserved. We figured we'd end up with a noisy child.
He can speak in sentences too, several words long.
It's nice to know what the heck he is talking about.
I'm not sure how many words Kynslee actually knows - lost count at about 14 months and she has learned soo many words since then. I'm guessing around 75 or so? And, she can repeat tons more.
She doesn't really do actual sentences yet. She will put some 2 words together, but only if they go together like "all done, see ya, love you, excuse me, ect..." and if she heard/learned them that way.
Too many to count. He is able to name about 80% of things in his environment, and uses them regularly
He doesn't do full sentences, but speaks in some phrases, ie all gone, aww man, penis yucky (when he's wet) reach cup, no Layla etc.
she says many, but is very picky when she actually uses them. She's the quietest of the 3 and often gets what she wants w/o talking. We're working on making her use her words to ask for things. She says around 30-50 words.
Sometimes she will put 2 words together, but not often.
Mom to M (6), K (4), and little rose (18 months)
Ayla says so much, and talks in little sentences. She will say things like "That's my mommy, where did it go?, that's a kitty, etc" She is chatty, and says so much. More than I can keep track of.
Then there is Silas. At their 18mth apt, the doc asked me if he said 20 words. I honestly couldn't think of 20 he could say. After that appointment, he started to say more. Now he def says more than 20 words. The biggest "sentence" he says is "Big truck." He is so nasally when he says it too. I am getting his hearing tested because he failed it at birth, and I was so spaced out when he was supposed to get a repeat at 6 weeks (the first year was a blur....the first 6 weeks felt like a day).
Anyways, he says a lot now, but I am still wanting to rule things out in case his hearing has anything to do with it.
I haven't written them down yet but my guess is that Joey's got 40-50 words right now and some three word sentences like "Mylo go outside", its all baby garbly but I know he's got that one perfected but then he won't say the word milk at all, strange little boy
