Now that I know my little guy is alright, I can share and laugh about his antics this morning.
DS is not one who listens to "NO" or "Stop!" his general response is to smile and then do it anyways. This morning he learned the hard way. He was playing with one of those emergency lights that plug in, he took it out of the outlet and I told him no and started to get up to get him since there was now an uncovered plug exposed. Too late, he stuck his wet (because he's always sucking them) little fingers in the outlet. Poor little guy jumped backwards, his hair standing on end and crying. After I calmed him down he looked over at the wall then at me and said "Mama, wall bite!"
Don't get me wrong, I love my kids and never want them hurt, but it was the funniest thing ever and I had to try very hard not to laugh at his comment. I just hope now when I tell him no, he'll leave the outlet alone. He hasn't gone back over to that wall or light all day.
My poor little guy is traumatized! To get to DH tonight at supper he had to go past that wall, he very cautiously walked by it and then pointed to it to tell DH that "wall bite". I've never seen a kid so scared of a wall! You have no idea how hard it is not to laugh.
