I do not. Neely plays guitar and bass. He is very musically inclined and plays by ear, not by reading notes. I would love for the boys to play something and will encourage it. In fact, all of the boys have their own electric guitars.
I play the piano, the baritone and the flute; DH plays the saxophone and is learning guitar. Both of my kids will do piano lessons for a few years at least. If they really hate it, I won't make them keep going. I hope at least one of them is musically inclined.
I play the flute and piccolo, have played the guitar in the past but it would take some practice to play again and I played the hand bells at church for a while but then kids got in the way, I have a violin but can't play it. I have my flute, piccolo and guitar too, so if they ever show interest or need them for school that's great, but I'm not going to force it.
I've monkeyed around with a few other instruments too, clarinet, French horn and a bit of percussion and piano, but I don't have those instruments and didn't perfect any of them.
