I do wonder often if I am the only one who has a non-walker.

So, is your LO walking?
How old did they start?

I thought Eve was walking! I could have swore I saw something on FB about it... or maybe it was another one of our babies here.
Pea was walking by 9 months.

Gary started walking on Thanksgiving 11 months almost 12.
Don't worry my friend's daughter didn't walk til 19 months! Its okay. .. she also had been lying on FB about it. Saying she was walking and when I saw her she was like, well I was worried she was behind. . . WEIRD. Why people Lie about what their kids do or dont will forever baffle me.

Katelyn started walking right before her first birthday. I have a friend though with a December baby that just started walking this week.

Makes me feel better hearing stories about other bubba's walking later in their life.
I don't worry about it a lot, but sometimes it gets the better of me. She cruises furniture and walls well, walks holding one of our hands well, walks in her walker well... she just lacks confidence to let go and go on her own

The status you musta seen Miranda, was of me saying she is now walking holding our hands/furniture I remember it. She never used to lol we would hold her hands and she would just stand there

J started walking September 8th. ...so he was just 9 mo & 6 days.

..that's about a month earlier than my older son. He was 10 months & a couple days. I didn't realize anyone still wasn't walking in our group. I think babies focus on different things. Some that walk and climb earlier sometimes talk slower. Or vice versa. My oldest definitely was a talker so I'm not surprised he walked after. He has 36 words listed on his 12mo birthday whereas J probably only knows about 20 and he's 17 mo. ..but he is way ahead of where R was as far as running/kicking/climbing/etc.. but both started early.

Babies are all different. What does the doc say?

Jon started walking around 13 months but was really wobbly and fell a lot compared to my girls, who both walked at 12 months. He's running now!

I'm sure she's probably fine...just a late walker!

Yes she is a VERY big talker!! I am not too worried, haven't brought it up with the Doc as I never felt the need to. Would you? Maybe I will then... hmmm....

My doc has a list of "milestones" that we go through each visit. I remember walking being one of them a while back. Not sure what they say if they don't hit it but I'm sure she's fine. I didn't mean to like run out and make an appointment. Haha. ..but I would mention it next time I'm there *if* she isn't walking by then. The 18mo check-up is right around the corner

We have a Plunket nurse who does scheduled appointments, at Eve's 15 month check I mentioned it and she wasn't worried so maybe that would be my Doc visit lol
We don't really see the Doc unless she's sick, or to get her special formula
And Eve has a wholeee month to go until her next check she only turned 17 months yesterday

I can remember the "are they walking?" question at the one-year checkup. Seems like Eve is right on track with everything else - it couldn't hurt to ask the doctor. Maybe they'll do her 18 month check sooner and you can get everything checked at the same time.
