What do you all think of the Child Harness (leash)?
They have pretty cute one's now, with little stuffed animals lol
I don't know how I feel about them.
On one hand, I think it's a great idea if you have an active toddler who likes to test their limits and if this keeps them from darting in front of a car or into a crowd (we all know how FAST they can be even if you are paying 100% attention) then why not?
On the other hand, I know people have some pretty strong opinions about them being wrong. Comparing their children to dogs, etc. I can see this too, I am one that used to think there was NO WAY I'd EVER use a "leash". (before I had a crazy 2 year old lol). I am starting to re-think being so close minded about them.
We are getting ready to go on vacation, an amusement park and I've been looking at them and now I think that if it keeps my daughter safe then I don't see what the problem is, I may be more worried now about what other people think, I don't want complete strangers coming up to me giving me their opinions.
This wouldn't be something I'd use on a daily basis, just to big places with lots of people.
I'd like to hear what you all have to say about them since we all have kids about the same age.
In some circumstances for safety it is: carry the toddler, hold their hand , strap in stroller, or let them walk on a harness. So in those circumstances the leash would be a nice option if the toddler doesn't mind. That way they can still walk around and be safe.
