I usually clean and get things I need to get done when he naps. But lately he has been such an handful I have been so tired and thinking I should start napping when he does. Then I feel guilty because I'd never get anything done around here! LOL
I never nap, for two reasons. First, like you said, I would never get anything done if I didn't take advantage of that child-free time. So I clean, prepare the next meal, whatever else needs to be done. Second, I SUCK at falling asleep. It would take me an hour just to wind down and drift off, and right around that time he will wake up. So I don't bother. LOL

I sometimes do. DH usually comes home from work around the time she goes down for a nap. so, we usually try and enjoy that child-free time together since Kynslee usually goes down to bed later. DH and I usually eat lunch and watch a short dvd & sometimes I nap. But, I usually set an alarm if I nap and then I get up and do the work. Or, if I don't nap I try and relax reading a book. It helps me keep my sanity during a busy day with a very active emotional drama queen
Maddie rarely takes naps, so when she does I will either have some me time and read a book or something or try to get things done around the house. When I was working and having to get up early in the mornings I was more prone to taking the occasional nap with her.
