I love seeing everyone's answer to this. With my first, she wouldn't cooperate and they couldn't tell me until like 2 weeks before she was due. At that point, I said I had waited that long, I could wait a little longer. With my second, I didn't want to find out, but he wasn't a bit shy and I said "whoa! That would be a boy!" Before I could say I didn't really want to know, the ultrasound tech said "Sure is!"
Having done it both ways, I don't know what my answer would be. Not having the big reveal during the delivery seemed a little strange, but I can also appreciate the advantages of being able to purchase gender specific items.
Next time I'm pregnant I'm definitely finding. We didn't with Megan and I was so sure I was having a boy and when I woke up in recovery to find out girl I was so shocked! Very happy but very surprised too

We are not finding out, we still have all of Isaac's clothes so if it turns out to be a boy he will be set for clothes and everything else for the matter. Isaac is not even a year old yet. But I also plan on buying girl clothes with tags, this way I can shop for a girl and enjoy that part of it even if we have to return them after the birth.
I wanted to know so bad with Isaac. I told everyone from the start he was a boy and at the 8 weeks u/s I just knew. The at 18 weeks 6 days we confirmed it, but after that it seemed like there was no more surprises. So this time I want that big surprise, I want that "it's a boy or it"s a girl announcement.
There really isn't many surprises in life and this to me is the best. I am a huge planner and therefore will plan by buying two rake home outfits. It's funny bc the nursery is gender neutral and all of the paraphernalia
Is neutral and can be spiced up in pink or blue. If I have a boy we are solid with clothes. If I have a girl I'm sure she will be SPOILED! It has become a tradition where my husband announces the sex after delivery to me <3
