Will you have a nursery for this baby, or will baby be sharing a room with you or a sibling?

For the first 8 months or so baby will be in our room. After that all 4 will share a room.

The baby will start in our room then move to a nursery when it feels right. I probably will have the nursery set up once we know a gender just because I find it fun.

We have this strange "extra" room off of our bedroom -- used by the original builder for a snoring husband -- that was supposed to become my study, but will now become a nursery of sorts. I assume initially that I'll have the baby in our room though for ease of night feedings? But really I know almost nothing about that so-long-off-seeming stage. I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself before we know a little better how things are going in there.

Laura, I am with you. When I do finally get pregnant again, I will set up a nursery because it will be fun, but I doubt baby will use it for at least a year. For one thing.... my bedroom is downstairs, and all the other bedrooms are upstairs. I'm not going to want a baby that far from me. Besides.... I enjoy late night cuddles when babies wake up in the middle of the night.

We havent fully worked out sleeping arrangements yet. DH and I took over the basement and sleep down there but I have to find out if its too damp to have the baby with us down there. If not they might be in with a sibling. If its a girl there is a good chance they will just share a room with my DD as I know she would never put anything into the crib. I am a little worried about putting a boy in with my DS's as the youngest is 3 and might very well put things in the crib.

Baby will be in the bassinet/PNP in our room for the first 6 weeks or so, and in a nursery of it's own after that.

The baby will definetely sleep with us for at least the first few years, I will probably have all the baby stuff in our room for this one too, I just rearranged rooms and it would not be easible to have the newborn stuff on a different floor than mine, my older two girls are in the two smaller bedrooms on the main floor, so I couldn't really put the newborn stuff in their rooms, they were getting to the stage that for my sanity they both NEEDED their own rooms.

^^^^This
We set up Jax nursery when I was pregnant but he rarely slept there until around 8-9 months. I just didn't want to go upstairs in the middle of the night too often and I really enjoyed cosleeping since I was nursing. This baby will have it's own room across from Jax's and baby will sleep there when we are all ready.

DP & I have been looking at condo's, we're currently in a 1-bdrm apartment and I can imagine it'll get a bit tight. Baby will get its own room for sure, but how long it spends with us in our room depends on where the 2nd bedroom is located in comparison to ours. Some of the condo's we like have the master on the first floor, and the 2nd room on the 2nd floor.

Baby will definitely start out in our room, not sure what will happen after that. We are in serious need of more space so some remodeling/renovations are in order but its all so overwhelming!

We just converted one of our bedrooms into my changing room/closet. I know how ridiculous that sounds, but I have lots of clothes and shoes (that I should probably be giving away now.) And we had just finished this the week before we discovered our little bean on board. So our baby will be in our room until we figure out our next logistical move..

I'm in a 1 bedroom apartment, so we'll be sharing a room, at least for awhile.

Baby bunks with mom and dad for a few years. A little baby off alone in their own room sounds very lonely to us.

Yes there will be a nursery.. Baby wont move into it until about 3 mos like our first though. We wont be going all out on the room like we did with our first but I still want to do something.. For the first few months with visitors we will keep the guest bed in there but will probably get rid of it after that since we don't have a lot of visitors..

Baby will share a room with us probably forever! (still haven't managed to get my 2 year old DS out of my bed! I blame DH as I am only home 2 nights a week.) But he/she will also have a nursery as we have a spare room anyway.

Baby Grey will room in with us for awhile and then we'll have to have two of the kids share a room. I'm not sure who will share yet, but unless the baby sleeps well, baby will be the one in his/ her own room.

Baby will be in our room for at least the first 10 months i'd say, and hopefully we will be moving to a bigger place before he/she needs to go into its own room.
