I'll be just over 6 weeks. But I'm waiting to hear back from my old docs (we moved) to see if they think I should get in early for a blood draw.

I am hoping Thursday. I switched to an HMO so now I need a referral. The referral person was out of the office last week so I do not know if I can get the referral in time to go now. I have to go on travel the following week so if not this week then it will be in two weeks. I know it is not that big of a deal since some doctors do not even see patients until 8 weeks or so, but I just find it comforting to go, so fingers crossed for this week.

Oh that sucks! The majority of doctors don't see you until later unless you have had a history of miscarriage or complications though. I hope the time moves by quickly for you!

My midwife practice sees you at 8 weeks. For me I had some complications with elevated liver enzymes after birth and was not expecting this pregnancy at all so I called to have just a consultation with my midwife group. They got me in for wed I'll be 4 weeks 3 days. I doubt I'll have betas don't need them bc I won't get repeats plus it'll drive me nuts only getting one. I will ask if she can do an us at 6 weeks because I'm in serious shock right now still and I think it would make it easier for bonding. Plus I'm a nervous wreck bc in nursing a 8 month old and want to be sure it's not affecting growth of fetus.

Its official. I will go June 11th after my trip. Oh well. Not a huge deal other than I would have liked to get my prenatals (don't panic, my OB just has you take regular multivitamins while trying so I will keep taking those and add some extra folic acid).
