Yesterday I took a dollar store pro-care brand and there was a line, darker then the last time I took a dollar store one but not that great. Last night before bed I took another and there was a line but not as thick as the one earlier in the day. I was a little worried but figured it was because I had drank so much. So I just tested again this morning and the line is not really there, just barely I have sent DH to go get me a digital one but have the feeling that after all this excitement and so many tests its going to be another chemical for me

This happened to me hun, tested at 10DPO positive but tested the morning off 11DPO and there wasn't a line there at all but tested again in the afternoon and the line was back! as ladies said to me when you are that early the HCG isn't that high and so many factors can effect it early on.. I hope you get a good result next time you test x

I would really try to be positive at this point. You've gone from high quality tests to cheap-o's, I don't think it's too surprising that the line is lighter. Can you call your doctor and ask for betas? Otherwise I'd get an FRER and make sure your urine is not too diluted when you take it. As far as the digi, when I was pg with DD I got a SUPER faint line early on, so light that DH didn't believe it. So I happened to have a digi and I took that too. It came up positive even though I must have only had tiny amounts of hcg. I think the digis are more sensitive than people think. I hope these light tests are just a fluke! *hugs*

I took a digital first response test about 2 hours after my last pee and it came up positive. I took a dollarstore test and it came up neg again. I am just going to stop using the dollar store tests and stick to the digi I might try a different digital test to be sure but Dh bought a two pack so I will use that one again tomorrow to be sure and then maybe switch brands...lol.

I was testing with (pound strips) same as your dollar strips everyday (even at 10dpo) and they were ALL negative!! not even a slight line, the same day i tested with a midstream test and it came up positive, i don't trust the strips anymore i have never got a reliable answer with them

Dollar store tests are nasty creatures. I used to use them all the time, but I hate them! I strongly suggest using a FRER, just to ease your mind and staying completely away from Dollar store tests.

(((hugs)))
Prayers and a truck full of sticky dust headed your way.

I probably wouldn't do a digi if I were you. Those things are super sensistive. I would go out and get a FRER. They're expensive, but they're so reliable.

Have you called your doc yet? Maybe you can go in for betas or something.

I'm in the same worry boat, but trying to stay positive. I've taken several tests over the past few days. .88 Walmart tests, 2 FRERs and even an OPK. All had lightish lines. Not squinters, but not wonderfully dark either. CB Digi showed not pregnant today, totally did a number on me! I guess I'll have to see what the next few days hold! Praying for sticky beans for us both.

After reading some responses at the first response digi being too sensitive I had DH go get another brand. He came home with a two pack of clear blue. It came up positive before I even put the lid back on.
