Just a few days before I found out I was pregnant I bought an annual zoo membership for our family. The zoo isn't all that close to us but the kids have SO MUCH FUN when we go I knew it would be worth it to be able to go more often than once a summer. We went last Saturday and I was 4w1d, I was just fine the whole time. The trip ended up being bit of a disaster that had nothing to do with being pregnant so we immediately decided to return again the next Saturday (which was yesterday).
Yeesh! The smell! Oh the smell! Things I tolerated just fine 1 week ago sent me running yesterday. I managed to only throw up twice while we were in the zoo but I did a bunch of gagging. There were some exhibits I couldn't go into so I waited outside while the rest of my family went through. Despite my robo-nose we had a ton of fun yesterday but I'm definitely zoo'd out for a bit LOL!
Does anyone else get a super sensitive sense of smell during pregnancy?

My sense of smell is crazy right now. We are going to Nebraska in a week to visit friends and family and when we're there I really wanted to take DS to the Omaha zoo. I am now reconsidering, I have no desire to throw up multiple times from the smell.
Its been horrible for me. My restaurant sells a lot of seafood, so i felt sick all night.. and when i tried to step out back for fresh air, i could smell all of the empty liquor and beer bottles & the trash that they hold in the cart until they take it to the dumpster it was a lose/lose situation last night.
