When your baby comes, make sure you hold him/her close, snuggle while you can, and enjoy every moment you can while they are little. It goes so fast.

My "baby" turned 11 today. He doesn't like snuggles anymore. I'm a sad momma. lol They definitely grow up entirely too fast, so enjoy it!

They do grow oh so fast. I can't wait to soak up that sweet new baby. Your comment reminded me of this poem and I bet some other women here will enjoy it:

Song for a Fifth Child

by Ruth Hulburt Hamilton

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
Sheís up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, Iíve grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo).
The shoppingís not done and thereís nothing for stew
And out in the yard thereís a hullabaloo
But Iím playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Arenít her eyes the most wonderful hue?
(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as Iíve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
Iím rocking my baby and babies donít keep.
