Hey ladies,
I was jsut wondering if any of ya'll had experienced any bleeding during any of your pregnancies? I have been spotting the last few days, it goes from clear(normal) to Brownish (also normal, i think) to very light pink to light red. I have seen the doc twice this week, and both times the babies heart rate looked good, and everything seemed ok, the doc doesnt seem too concerned... any ideas on why it might be happening?? We DTD on Sunday, and we walked all weekend around San Antonio last weekend, and the doc has seen a small cyst on my cervix, but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this and how it turned out?

I had bleeding when i was about 5 weeks pregnant with my son. She said sometimes where the baby implants, it kind of creates a bruise in your uterus that will bleed. I bled a good bit of bright red. i thought i had lost him. We did see what looked like another sac in my uterus though that wasn't shaped correctly, so it also might have been a vanishing twin. We will never know for sure. Anyway, yes, you can bleed and all can be just fine.

My guess is your cervix is irritated because of DTD and/or the cyst but I'm no expert. The only spotting I've ever had during pregnancy was implantation spotting with baby #2 around the time I was supposed to get my period.

I had bleeding/spotting this past weekend and still spotting alil off and on. I have been feeling fine and everything and I have been making DH stay away since I think it was from us DTD. You may just be in the same boat that most of us seem to be in.

My first pregnancy I had spotting throughout and nothing could be found for a cause. They chalked it up to a sensitive cervix since a lot of times it was after a BM. I have a happy and extremely gifted 2 1/2 year old on my hands now (can read books, count to 100, recite the german alphabet and count to 20 in german, as well as count to 5 or 10 in a few other languages....yes I am bragging )

I had bleeding at 7 weeks with my first DD too it lasted a few days, i dont know why but when they did an u/s at 12 weeks they saw the blood inside my daughters belly!! she had swallowed it, so the bleed must of been from inside somewhere, by time i got to 20 weeks it was gone out of her system

with my daughter i started bleeding at 7 weeks, not bright bright red, more like redish pinkish. i went to get checked, got an ultrasound and all that and they started giving me rogham shots. the first shot stopped the bleeding for the rest of my pregnancy.

I had a rhogam shot on Tuesday, and then I had some more bleeding on Weds, so they wanted to see me again. Im thinking the bleeding wednesday might have been due to the ultrasound monday? I had another us yesterday, and Ive had slightly reddish pink spotting today.

I had bleeding in my first and third pregnancy and it turned out fine. With my first there was no known reason and my third I had low progesterone.

The transvaginal ultrasound can cause spotting, and maybe your cervix is extra sensitive due o the cyst. Be encouraged -- once your babies have heartbeats and its considered a viable pregnancy your miscarriage risk drops dramatically. I spotted for several weeks with three of my (healthy) pregnancies and this time I've even had a little red blood and it's still been fine. Try not to stress -- I know that's next to impossible , but if you've seen those babies on the ultrasound and the spotting hasn't changed I would say its no big deal.
