I'm sure this has been asked...but I'm so out of it I can't seem to find it!!!!

I was lucky the first few weeks and nada...then all of a sudden Wednesday night after dinner, bam!!!! I have not been able to get rid of the nausea!!!! It's horrible!!! I couldn't sleep at all Wednesday, took Thrusday off and called the dr for Zofran. Which of course my insurance doesn't cover, the generic they do cover only helps for an hour or so...I just want to cry!!!! Everything makes me sick, and nothing sounds good to eat. Are there any remedies any of you BTDT moms have tried that worked? I can't seem to shake this and it worries me, cause I know I need to eat to stay healthy, but everything makes me want to throw up

popsicles helped me a ton. Especial like lemon flavored or something. Also find something you can drink, anything. Staying hydrated is important and will help with your nausea. Eat very small frequent meals. Fruit helped me a lot and watery fruits will also help hydrate you.

Warning on the zofran, that junk will constipate you big time. Get some magnesium or something to take along with it.

Jolly ranchers and preggie(?) pops worked for a little bit for me. Lately today though the only thing settling my stomach is soda. I am not sure why it is helping but it has helped tons today.

I just spoke with my doctor over the phone because I'm on vacation and didn't bring my Zofran. After suggestions from my other mommy friends, yesterday I picked up unisom (I'll have to look up which ingredient one youd want when I get home) and b6. I took one unisom before bed and woke up a new woman this morning. No nausea at all and I've been sick all day for about 2 weeks! I am also taking 50 mg of b6 twice a day (I cut a 100 mg pill in half). Plus with the unisom, I slept so well last night.

It's 3:30 now here in AZ and I haven't had a single bout of nausea. I'm so excited because now I can enjoy the time with our family.

lemon ginger tea... couple of slices of lemon and a few slices of fresh ginger root boiled for a couple minutes in water, remove from heat and let steep about 5-10 minutes and drink.

Campino candies worked for me. Dpnt worry too much about what your eating. Just eat what you can keep down. I barfed my brains out in the first 12 wks of preg with both my kids and still managed to gain 15 lbs in the first trimester. Go figure! Hope you feel better soon.

Ginger candies and Psi Bands have helped me BIG TIME. also, I drink a protein shake in the morning and one before bed...eating things with a good amount of protein will keep you full and less nauseous.
