So I woke up this morning and realize the spotting had passed it was gone and I was very happy and felt very optimistic for the first time since this pregnancy began. That was until about 15 minutes ago when I use the bathroom and when I wiped there was very light but there. I put a call into my midwife and she will be calling me back hopefully within the next half an hour or so. I do not know what to expect. But I do know that if I follow what my gut is telling me that this may very well be the last day that I will be considered pregnant. It does not come as a shock or surprise because I have been expecting it for the past seven weeks so I have my mind somewhat prepared but my heart is definitely not. I will keep you all updated of course on what happens but say prayer for my little being that everything is okay in there. I'm going to try to request an ultrasound so I can know either way because quite honestly my mind cannot handle anymore. I will let you all know what happens

I had some spotting the other day and it turned out to be nothing, we saw a healthy bean today.

I'm a bit over 5 weeks pregnant and I just noticed some spotting. About a drop worth and bright red. I won't see my doctor until the 10th so I'm a bit worried...

So my midwife just called me back and informed me of some information that the first two midwives I spoke with minutes after my ultrasound neglected to tell me… I have some sort of gestational bleed which is essentially a tiny blood clot in the uterus that is typically benign and will dissolve in itself in bleed for a few days. No one mentioned this to me before and I can't believe nobody in my midwives office that it was necessary to tell me that I will most likely be experiencing some bleeding within the next week or two for most likely a week or two. I have to go in now for a repeat ultrasound just to make sure it is not anything more than that, which given the low heart rate and the small measuring is very possible still. However I am not having heavy cramping as I did with the prior to miscarriages so my guess is as good as anybody else's. I'm not only terrified but I'm angry as hell that nobody mentioned this to me but at the same token have a slight glimmer of hope that maybe that is all it is and praying to see you healthy alive baby inside me today ...prayers

Hopefully it is just that bleed that is causing problems. I know in other posts you'd said you found spotting when digging (?- tampons, q-tips? Not sure how or why you're digging) but if your still doing that there is always the chance that you've scraped internally or irritated the tissue enough that it is the reason behind some of the bleeding. Good luck and hopefully there is a healthy bean there! When is your u/s?

Well we saw growth consistent with 6 weeks 1 dayso that as good but still a week behind but were unable to find a hb . Doc says goo early to call so i have to ho back in a week. I expect to be blewding soon my hope is lost. I think they were just trying to be nice but how can u see a heartbeat 4 days ago and not find it now and have it be ok? They said they will not consider anything a miscarriage that is under 5 mm and I was three point something millimeters close to four so I unfortunately got no answers although on the back of my mind I know that I did. I have to go back on Thursday of next week to see what the situation is but I know it's not good. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers and wish they could have an answer but I just think it wasn't meant to be
