I know this may sound silly, as we are all lucky to be pregnant but does anyone have a specific preference to what they hope the baby is, boy or girl?
If so did you do anything to help sway the sex of the baby?

It doesn't sound silly I asked this same question a few weeks ago.
I am kinda hoping for a girl as are DD's. DH and the boys are hoping for a boy. No we didn't sway or anything for gender.

Hoping for a girl a little more. We did not do anything to sway it one way or the other.

I wouldn't mind another girly, but it doesn't really matter.

We will be happy either way but deep down I want a boy and he wants a girl. I have a 24 yo daughter and he has a 6 yo son already. If it is a boy they can share a room, otherwise we may have to consider selling our house and buying a bigger one.

Well since I have been going through infertility for so many years I just want healthy but I have a leaning towards a girl, I have a 4 year old son and was raised with 3 older brothers and no sisters so its time to get a little girly stuff going in my life! I want that mother/daughter relationship that me and my mom have.
When we were trying naturally I did try to sway toward a girl by taking a cranberry pill supplement (did that anyway before TTC to prevent UTI's), calcium, and magnesium supplement, all is supposed to change the PH in your system in favor of female sperm, none of that matters now though because we did IVF and our 4 surviving embryos are already decided on gender, so we'll see, I'll be blessed either way but would be estatic to get a girl.

No swaying. I honestly never wanted girls. I did get two in a row and I don't love them any less, of course. But I'm just not cut out for tea parties and dolls. My hubby is great for that. LOL! I do enjoy buying cute things for my niece, but I do not do cute with my daughters. They say "ballet classes" I suggest Kung Fu.
I'd love another boy.

We have two girls and two boys so this one is a tie breaker. Everyone in our house is hoping for a girl. We have children with autism and our boys are effected much more severely than our girls. Our chances of having a neurotypical and/or higher functioning child are better with a girl so that's what we'd like. Of course we are blessed either way! We did nothing to sway the outcome but I have prayed for a neurotypical child and will continue to do that as I need to for comfort.

We didn't do anything to sway. At this point I would be happy with a healthy baby. Our m/c was over 8 months and after thinking I was losing this one already, I do just truly want a healthy baby.

We didn't sway as we weren't trying. I would like Brycen to have a brother but since DH says this is our last baby I would like a girl. If it's a boy then there's more time to convince him to try for a girl!

I go both ways, I have 5 girls and 3 boys but the last 2 were boys and my youngest dd is going to kindergarten this year so I would like a boy to balance it out a bit more but I love little girls <3

I already have one of each but I grew up with three brothers and always wanted a sister so that's what I'm hoping for for Lilly. We weren't trying so we didn't do anything special.

I would like a girl since the boys really outnumber the girls in our house, but I would be happy with either.
