I got the babies heartbeat on the dopplar this morning I woke up and just felt like trying to find it. It took a minute, but there it was! I am 8 weeks and 5 days. My uterus is straight up and I am thin so I can usually find it pretty early, but I didn't expect to find it today. I am SO excited!! It was 170's . I called my 4 year old DD in there and asked if she wanted to hear the baby. She got really excited then I turned the dopplar back on and she looked confused and was like "are we going to hear it talk?" hahahaha. I told her no, that the thumping was the babies heart. She got a grin on her face and just listened. I go to get another u/s tomorrow so finding the heartbeat today makes me so much less nervous about the u/s. Yay for a strong little bean!

yay!!! I love hearing my baby's heartbeat on the doppler! it just gets easier to find the bigger they get and more reassuring!
