If you could go anywhere where would you go?

Do you plan to take a vacation before baby comes or shortly after?

Anywhere? Oh my. I'd go everywhere. I've been day dreaming about vacations a LOT lately. I want to go back to some of the places that I really loved. Rome, Buenos Aires, Hawaii, Woods Hole (Cape Cod). I can't decide whether I really want a relaxing beach vacation, or an active sightseeing/city vacation. I kind of just want everything I think.

Instead of taking one the trips I really want to though, we're going to do what's convenient, lol. I am supposed to attend a conference in Austria in September, and if I'm still allowed to go (I'm on bed rest right now, so it's pretty uncertain) then my husband will join me after the conference and we'll spend an extra week there. If my OB doesn't want me to travel overseas, then we're just going to look for a late rental or a hotel on/near the beach in NC or SC for that same week. Somewhere we can drive to, just to get away and relax and take a week off from work. We haven't both taken a week off from work together in more than 2 years, and we've been through a lot of stress in the intervening time, so I'm really looking forward to some time away for just the two of us before the baby arrives.

i would love to go to the bahamas , but i dont see that happening anytime soon, i will be going to a family reunion in december at a beach house for a week

Do you plan to take a vacation before baby comes or shortly after? Yes, we're going back to my hometown in January. We were supposed to go in September, but hubby got a new job that didn't allow him vacation until January, so we had to reschedule. It will be our first time back since we moved out in 2006.

I want to go on a cruise or just to Charleston (4hrs away) before the baby comes, but I don't see that happening financially

I would love to go to Mexico, but with all my kids dont see that happening for a long time to come, but someday it will...

I've always wanted to go to Iguazu Falls but can't see that happening in the near future.

We don't have any trips planned but, we often go away on the weekends so, that's a possibility.

I dont see any big trips in our near future. We did some extensive traveling the last 3 years in preparation for when we had kids and couldn't travel as much. I am sure we will take a weekend away though before the babies get here. I think I will reallllly need it! lol

Right now I would travel home but that is just because I am on travel for work, hormonal and missing DD and DH oh so much.

My normal answer is I really want to visit Alaska. I would also love to go to Hawaii, Greece, Italy, Australia, I could probably go on and on. We do not have any travel plans for the near future.

Geothermal pools in Iceland
DH and I were talking about making the trip this fall. Will have to postpone it for a while though since I wouldn't be able to partake in the pools/spa treatments. One day....
