Grr Im so frustrated right now. Just to recap when I had my ultrasound scheduled 7/17 my doctors office cancelled 10 minutes before I was suppose to be there. It wouldve been with the ultrasound tech no doctor. Well today was suppose to be my first appointment with the doctor, and guess what!? Cancelled again! Now its Wednesday but Im skeptical. Their whole selling point was they have 4 doctors so if your doctor couldnt be there youd see another...guess not. Sorry had to vent a little! Im disappointed.

Third time they cancel I would be gone. Hope they see you on Wednesday. Good luck!

Jeepers! In two pregnancies I've only been cancelled on twice for deliveries.
So sorry they're putting you in this situation

Yeah if they cancel 1 more time I'm definitely out of there, it's rediculous. I understand deliveries, etc but the first time they cancelled it was just the ultrasound tech and she obviously wouldn't be delivering any babies. The first excuse they gave was "she can't see you this morning" the excuse for today was a "scheduling conflict" it just REALLY rubbed me the wrong way when she said, "I see you couldn't make it to your ultrasound" like I was the one who cancelled it. They should know better than that. Well assuming I actually GET IN on Wednesday I will definitely be saying something to the doctor and depending on how she decides to handle the situation will decide if I leave before giving a 3rd strike.

It's aggrivating because in THEIR paperwork if I cancel without 24 hour notice they can charge $50... so the way I see it they owe me $100. Hmph. Too bad they don't see it that way

Same thing happened to me. After my third cancellation I found me a new OB who saw me right away. I'm happy I made the switch.

Not acceptable! I'd find a new place before even giving them a third chance....

I would run far away. What if it was emergent...would they have you waiting in the waiting room forever since they're so busy? Screw that! Hopefully you can find better care else where.

The downfall is besides their office (with 4 doctors) my only other option is the OB I had with my daughter and he wasnt bad dont get me wrong just so, so, so old. And Ive heard nasty things since I had him including " if youre over 200lbs he will push a c section because he doesnt want to have to be down there". And he does push c sections, when my induction didnt work he had me scheduled for a c section a week later and thank god i went into labor because otherwise I wouldnt have had a vaginal delivery.

Ugh, how irritating. It sounds like they can do that kind of stuff because patients don't have a lot of other options in terms of other practices. I would definitely bring it up to the doctor when you see him though, and let him know that your time is valuable too. I really hope you finally get to be seen on Wednesday!

Scheduling conflict?????? That doesn't even make sense...I would fli p my lid on them.....If they mess up your appointment on Wednesday, you need to give them a piece of your mind. I do hope your appointment on Wednesday goes great , though. Good luck

Sorry that your having such a hard time with the Dr.'s you would think it should be fairly easy, especially if they have 4 Dr.'s. I would definitely be giving them a piece of my mind. It sucks that your only other option does not seem much better

Oh yeah, if there's ANY issues with tomorrow I will definitely flip my lid. If I get a call from them and it has ANYTHING to do with rescheduling I will tell them "don't worry about it, I'm going elsewhere!". I mean absolutely WORST case senario if this Dr doesnt work out or she doesnt respond well when I express my dissatisfaction AND I dont go back to my old doctor then I will have to find a doctor further away, the downfall is that if I go further away the delivery won't be at the hospital I work at which is literally 1 minute away from the house TOPS. But I guess it could be worse right?
