The nurse and doctor actually asked me last time (15 weeks) if I'd felt her move yet, but I'm guessing they didn't actually look at my file beforehand to see that I'm a FTM. (One of those things I really love about my practice -- the inability of anyone to be actually familiar with my case before they see me.

) None of the descriptions make sense to me. "Butterflies?" That sounds like when I get nervous. "Flutters"? I call that gas. And when I really try to concentrate on it all I can feel is my own pulse. DH put his ear to my belly last night and claimed he heard something. "It was really steady, not like a passing gas bubble." Yes, dear, that's called my heartbeat.
Soon, hopefully.
