So on an episode of one tree hill, one of the pregnant ladies keeps pretending that she's going into labor so she can see how her husband, her sister, and her friend will react when she really does go into labor. The reactions are pretty funny. I would never actually do that to my DH but I am sure he would be just fine. Anyone's husbands have funny reactions when it was time to go to the hospital?
My husband was asleep I woke him up and asked him to run me a bath so I could relax in it he says "what, why? You don't even smell" and nodds back off before properly waking up looking shocked "you"re in labour???" Lol
my water broke while he was on his way home from work. he got home loaded the kids up and was getting impatient for tree oldests bus he was going to leave him and get me to the hospital. i had to tell him i was ok because the contractions weren't that strong our close. we ended up without fire the bus. lol
JJ was good. I freaked out because of the way I went from contractions 15-20 mins apart to a small pop and back to back contractions where I couldn't hardly breath and move through them and because of my reaction he kind of panicked but we kept it together enough to get out the door, get the hospital and sitter called, and make it to the hospital without having a baby in the car

My first middle-of-the-night birth I woke up my husband and said, "it's time to go." He said, "Go where?" I'm thinking, "where else would we go at 2 in the morning when I'm 41+ weeks pregnant ." He woke up better then!
Brooke, happy mama to one girl (9), and four boys (7, 5, 3, and 2) and a surprise post-vasectomy miracle baby born February 7.
Dh was so calm with dd even though my water broke 6 weeks early.
This time he was far more freaked out which i found odd and funny. He had told me not to get out of bed if my water broke because he did not want me to slip and fall. After i told him my water broke he got out of bed and went to the bathroom. When he came back out he started asking me why i was still in bed. Uh, cause you told me not to, lol.
My husband was really calm and collected. We made a few lists for what to do, last minute things to grab, etc for when I was to go into labor. He utilized the lists, and checked them twice. He was great!
