Me! I've been pumping once a day in the morning since about day 5. I'll be pumping at least 4x a day when I go back to work. Just trying to build a stash right now!

I am a SAHM and DS nurses well so I don't HAVE to pump but I do have an excess of supply so I am pumping when it gets uncomfortable and will be donating the extra to my state's breastmilk bank.

I just got my breast pump in the mail last week. I don't plan on needing it much till baby is a few months old but I plan to pump every once in a while so that DH can be with baby while I take some mommy time and things like that.

I love when mommy's get some quick time to themselves and daddy's get bonding time Win/Win!

I'm surious as to what type of bottles you ladies are using to avoid nipple confusion. Creighton can't latch at the moment so he gets expressed BM exclusively and my goal is to eventually get him on the breast, but I am trying to stick with a bottle that makes him actually work harder for it. Right now we are using the Avent Natural feeding system and I ordered a Calma feeding set from Medela so we will see how that goes. Ultimately I want him to take the breast.. so much less time and work involved.

I used the Playtex Ventair bottles with the wide nipples for DD and am planning to use the same with Clara. I used a nipple shield with DD so we didn't have any nipple confusion and I'm still using one with Clara. I plan to try to wean her from it soon but I'm hoping since she's been using one, I won't have any issues transitioning to a bottle.

We are using the Playtex ventaires wide slow flow nipples. Used them with my first as well and love them!

I'm still having to pump and fortify, river takes to the boob ok when i want to cheat and have a little extra bonding. it took a little bit to get her to start latching on after having a bottle for the first two weeks only. two more weeks g hopefully of having to pump. the doctor just wants to make sure she is gaining weight good. she is in the 2%for her weight right now. we are still using the nipples the hospital gave us.

I have heard great things about Dr. Browns! I think that everyone just has a bottle that works better for thier baby! We tried the new Similac bottle (I got one free in the mail) and the Playtex Ventaire, but Creighton had problems latching on those. We tried regular nipples and bottles, and again he had issues getting latched (you could hear him sucking in air), the only one we found that works good so far is the Avent Natural, and sometimes I have to take the bottle away 3 or 4 times and try again before he latches correctly on that.
