How is everyone healing physically?

I am not almost 9 weeks post partum and my c-section is still open and infected so that really sucks.

I was at a breastfeeding group and 6 out of the 8 women were still having complications and they were all over 6 weeks post partum.

How are you doing?

Are you starting to feel physically recovered from your brith experience?

Ugh, sorry to hear about the infected incision!! I hope it heals quickly!

I am 17 days PP and I am feeling really good. My soreness and various aches went away and my bleeding is just about done. Lydia sleeps pretty well so I'm not too terribly exhausted. She also sleeps solidly each afternoon so while she and my other kids nap, I do as well. Overall, this has been a great recovery and I credit much of that to my family who have helped me immensely!

I'm 5 weeks out and feel great. PPD has cleared up (thanks to a meds adjustment), pretty much all my pain is gone. I still have pelvic pain but it's slowly getting bearable and I have little reminder feelings of my epidural but it's not actual pain. Overall, though, I feel better than I've felt in a long, long time. Emotionally and physically.

I am 13 days pp and still have random bleeding. I go a couple days without bleeding at all and then I have a day where I bleed a ton.
I don't hurt nearly as much as I did a couple days ago. I cut way back in my pain meds. My boobs don't hurt near as bad any more either. I really just wish I could get more sleep. I love sleep and miss it terribly.

Incision had healed great! I still have some soreness in my belly. Also, My belly hates jeans but I think it from where it rubs and stuff like that. So, I only put them on when I need to leave the house lol.

I am 15 days out and I actually feel pretty good. My whacky emotions seem to be coming down as of the last couple of days and physically I have been dealing with some headaches but apart from that I feel good!

I was sore and tired the first week but after that, I felt back to normal. Breast feeding is going well and Clara is a pretty good sleeper. Overall, things are going well.

I'm 20 days pp and feeling pretty good. I'm a little more tired than usual today but, overall, I'm good. I think my bleeding has stopped but, I could get surprised at any moment. I am not sore from delivery anymore and am pretty sure my tear/stitches have healed. The soreness went away at about a week and a half. Cruz and I went to an LC the other day because I was having a lot of pain while nursing on my left side so. We needed some help! Since then, we're doing much better. Nursing is another thing that has been so different with this kid. I would have thought that on baby #3, I knew what I was doing. Apparently, I didn't.

I am 17 days post delivery, and doing better. My stitches dont require the use of the dermoplast all the time. I also have quit taking ibuprofen constantly every 6 hours. Now I only take it occasionally. My bleeding is a lighter red, and not as much as it used to be. I feel pretty good. Honestly I thought it would be much worse, and for longer.

My espesidomy (however you spell it) only bothers me if I try to sit indian style.
I feel ok. My back hurts all the time from carrying around my 10 pound monkey but that is a good thing
My bladder is still a mess. Good thing I am bfing and don't have time to drink too much water because it can't hold much.

I lucked out and felt great two days out (baby is 4 weeks 1 day today). Maybe it helped that I only had to push 4 times and only had 2 stitches which I have never even felt. I should add I'm still spotting though!

I'm 4 weeks out and I feel terrific, but at about 5 to 6 days after I had him I was back to my old self. No more pp bleeding now just waiting on the First dreaded period. Ethan is a great sleeper, eats all the time and love's to be held.

Three days and I feel great! I'm hardly bleeding at all, didn't have anything more than minor skidmarks, and I've been in very minor amounts of muscular and bone pain. Otherwise, the only other trouble I have is engorgement of boobs from milk coming in and regulating. I'm cleaning my house as close to regularly as I can fit in and not finding myself unable to do anything.

Today lil man is 2 weeks...physically, c section incision is pretty good - it is swollen on one side but nothing too terrible..doc says as long as its not red and/or oozy not to worry just dont be over doing it (which is REALLY hard for me). PP bleeding has pretty much stopped

I am doing pretty, good..I am exhausted not sleeping enough at all..Starting to wonder if its my hormones messing with me. Dont really feel depressed, just overwhelmed maybe. Boobs are engorged and it is pretty painful if i do not pump every 2 hours at least. wondering how im gonna stop when its time to stop are they gonna just blow up?!! lol My back is really the only thing thats been hurting. ouch!

9 days here. Was dealing with lots of problems from a spinal headache due to the epidural, had to spend a couple days lying down flat, but that finally cleared up, without needing to get a blood patch thankfully. So compared to that I am well, but my episiotomy stitches are still quite sore, I'm pretty weak when I try to do things (due to some underlying health issues that were likely exacerbated by the birth & lying in bed), and having some back pain that's likely from lying in bed so much too. But I'm still so relieved to be able to sit up and do regular things! But blessed to have DH to help still while I try to regain strength - otherwise things would be very difficult!

I am 2 wks PP and honestly, I'm not healing as well as I did last time. Maybe it's the tubal, but I'm in pain. Today I was out for a few hours at the doctors and then lunch and now I'm bleeding again. I'm also battling PPD and this time it's manifesting as some serious hate for DH. I feel bad for him and I have moments of clarity where I realize it's the hormones but it doesn't exactly take away the feelings of being annoyed and frustrated by him. The good thing is that this time around I'm not feeling super depressed and I have a great connection with my baby and most of all I'm coping with having two little ones which was really overwhelming when I came home from the hospital.
My back also hurts from the epidural but that'll be there forever and ever because even two years later I would get pain at the epidural site after DD1's birth.
